Event Video – Covering a Special Event
Client—McDonald's Canada and Cossette
Cossette contacted us to collaborate on an event video for one of their client’s McDonald’s Canada. The owners of the Westmount location, Chat and Suki Sangha have a special bond with the school and had taken the initiative to raise money for Ross Sheppard High School’s Athletics Program. 25% of the proceeds that night went to making school sports more affordable for all students and the community came out in full force to support it. Our job was to capture this meaningful night, show the connection between the McDonald’s staff and students and demonstrate the bond McDonald’s has with the community. We decided to incorporate a combination of shaky, easy rig footage and slow-motion to create this upbeat, warm and fuzzy video that epitomized school spirit and how a McDonald’s can be a good neighbour to schools. The edit told itself and we were thrilled to know that the brand has been sharing it internationally at its conferences.
